Nexus

Nexus is an open source script you can run on your web server to give you a community based website where people can register, search each others interests, and communicate with one another either through a private messaging system, or via chat requests and forums.
What requirements does Nexus have?
If you want to run Nexus, you will need a server with the following components:
- Apache
- MySQL
- PHP
Most commercial web servers that allow MySQL and PHP scripting will run Blog just fine. Equally, most distributions of Linux will run Blog if you have installed the above components. If you are unskilled with the use of MySQL, you may also wish to install phpMyAdmin - an open source database management tool.
